Byre Studio Maura Muckian Maura is an established artist working mainly in oils and pastel. While featuring landscapes and seascapes her paintings are in essence about mood, light and colour. She likes to observe and capture nature at a particular time and season. She tries to paint “Light and air, a moment in time, the poetry of nature”. Maura works to commission and exhibition in her studios overlooking Carlingford Lough. Her paintings appear in public and private collections in Ireland and abroad. Her work is in much demand for public and corporate presentation gifts. She also produces a series of limited edition prints and hand finished Christmas cards/miniature prints which may be personalised. Commissions discussed in artists studio.
