Edmund McNulty Edmund McNulty I operate my business from a studio located in the historic Millmount in Drogheda next door to the local museum. I’ve been based here for a number of years, designing and producing beautiful designer garments, all knitted from the finest luxury yarns from Italy and South America. My workshop is open to the public most days and they are most welcome to come in and browse through the rails of garments and perhaps find that little gem they were always looking for. As my main business is supplying shops with my work, there are many sample items and one-off pieces on display at very reasonable prices. In March 2008 I won Louth County Enterprise Board’s award for “Best Craft Business in County Louth”. Directions From the Belfast direction, come off the M1 motorway at the Slane exit and follow the signs for Drogheda, travel along the outer ring of the town using McDonald’s takeaway on your left as your marker, from there go through two sets of traffic lights and turn right at the third, then follow the signage for Millmount. From Dublin, take the Duleek exit off the M1 motorway and follow the signs for Drogheda, turn left just past the Maxol Garage opposite Mullen’s take away and follow the signs for Millmount. Places of interest nearby There are ample eating and drinking places in Drogheda town. I would recommend the very friendly Salthouse Café for a light lunch of freshly prepared daily specials and great coffee.
