Garrett Mallon Jewellery Garrett Mallon I trained and worked in the jewellery industry in London and Dublin for 15 years, and for the last number of years have worked from my studio at the foot of the Cooley mountains in Omeath. Using silver, gold, precious and semi precious stones, my collections are often colourful in nature and styles range from classic to contemporary. My work is available in quality outlets in Ireland, UK and the US and I also undertake private commissions for wedding and engagement rings, Christening gifts etc. My work has also been commissioned by public/ sporting bodies and corporations for presentation pieces and awards. Visitors are welcome to visit my workshop by appointment to view my collections and discuss individual requirements.
From Newry take the road to Omeath. Approaching Omeath travel approx 1 mile past the speed limit sign, passing a converted church on the left. Approx. 200 yds further take the next right turn up the lane, and I am the first right off this road. From Carlingford take the road to Newry. Pass through Omeath and approx 1 mile from the village crossroads you will pass a pink house and store (McGinns Variety) on your right hand side. Turn left 50 yds past this and I am the first right off this road.
Omeath is set in on the picturesque shores of Carlingford Lough and there is a very pleasant walk along the shorefront or the mountains. Coffee and cakes available in Rosa’s Café in Omeath.  |
