Louth Craftmark - 2 Year Programme If you would like to find a new career or to add to your current skills and abilities and develop your artistic and creative side, maybe you should consider craft as a source of employment. The Louth Craftmark programme could help you to do this. The aim of Louth Craftmark is to provide a variety of services, facilities and grant aid to help people launch, develop, sustain and practice craft business. In particular we promote entrepreneurship through enterprise employment and self-employment, largely amongst women, young people and the long-term unemployed.
Training focuses on enhancing self-development, interpersonal relations, self-worth and confidence, co-operation and collaboration. It seeks to equip participants with the skills to become employed or self-employed - through the Craft Taster Sessions and the Start Your Own Business training programme. The Master Class Technical Skills workshops are aimed at participants wishing to broaden their technical skill set and will encourage cross discipline experimentation. To register your interest in any or all of the strands please contact the office.
