Louth Craftmark

Louth Craftmark was set up in 2000 to represent the local craft makers in Louth, in a co-ordinated and concerted effort to stimulate the development of the craft sector.

Louth is recognised as an area of emerging strength in terms of arts, culture and crafts activities. Louth Craftmark has a strategic focus to tackle economic hardship, entrepreneurship skills deficits and social barriers faced by craftspeople living and working in Co. Louth.

Louth Craftmark will offer skills development through workshop based training, exhibitions, showcase events, craft fairs, professional development mentoring and networking opportunities. These actions will also develop the innovative capability of craft makers & designers to diversify sources of employment and income.

The Louth Craftmark programme is managed by Sarah Daly, Craft Development Officer.
