“Since I have been a small child, I have always been captivated with the beauty of nature and as I grew up, my curiosity spread to art, literature and travel. I always wanted to find a medium that I could use to capture my perspective of the beauty of this world. In designing and creating jewellery, I have found the outlet to create my own visual narrative.
Each season I design a new collection, drawing inspiration from places I have travelled to, or places that I wish to someday see. Art is also a major reference point in my designs, past collections include the Renaissance collection, where I worked with a lot of deep rich colours that da Vinci used in his masterpieces”.
Her latest collection is inspired by the illustrations of fairy tales by the Irish artist Harry Clark and Danish illustrator Kay Nielsen, in it she will be using a lot of gem colours to create the whimsical and magical feel that that only the fairy tales portray.
