Caoimhe Mc Carthy is an artist and illustrator living in County Louth. Nicknamed “Little Twit” by her father, Caoimhe has worked tirelessly to live up to the moniker and would like to think she has succeeded in growing up to be neither big or clever. Caoimhe’s whimsical illustrations are mostly inspired by her immature imaginings and portray the perspective of a slightly peculiar and somewhat fantastical child. “I’m lucky to live somewhere very beautiful and spend a lot of time staring at the sea, sky and stars. Nature’s influence is evident in a lot of my work, that and the fact I’m perpetually baffled when I look away from it”.
