I have been in the jewellery industry for over 25 years, training and working in London and Dublin before setting up my first studio in County Louth in 2002. In 2014 I opened Carlingford Design House where I have an open to view workshop and visitors can see me working at my bench. I also run a small jewellery school there and have a craft gallery showing the work over of 50 designer makers from all over Ireland.
I work in silver, yellow, white, rose gold and platinum, and as a trained stone setter my work often incorporates diamonds and precious gemstones in rich and vibrant colours. I live in a truly beautiful place and my collections are often inspired by my surroundings. I mould and shape the metal, contrasting textures to reflect nature’s forms and my work is often 3 D in nature.
I also undertake commission work for one off creations, engagement and wedding rings and society pieces.
All my pieces are hallmarked by the Assay Office in Dublin Castle and each piece purchased includes a unique gift box and care instructions.
