I have been in the jewellery industry for over 30 years, training and working in London and Dublin before setting up my first studio in County Louth in 2002. In 2014 I opened Carlingford Design House where I have an open to view workshop and visitors can see me working at my bench. I also run a small jewellery school there and have a craft gallery showing the work over of 100 designer makers from all over Ireland.I work in silver, yellow, white, rose gold and platinum, and as a trained stone setter my work often incorporates diamonds and precious gemstones in rich and vibrant colours. I live in a truly beautiful place and my collections are often inspired by my surroundings. I mould and shape the metal, contrasting textures to reflect nature’s forms and my work is often 3D in nature.
I also undertake commission work for one off creations, engagement and wedding rings and society pieces. Working with clients I also remodel old jewellery into new bespoke pieces.
