Sinéad Gregory, a Louth based visual artist who combines layers drawings and printmaking on to clay, paper and fabric. She specialises in creating atmospheric and painterly effects to transfer on to the ceramic surface.
Primarily, Sinéad enjoys interpreting her love of nature and conveying its beauty. She is also interested in exploring a range of contemporary issues through artistic mediums. Recent work has concentrated on the decline of indigenous bird species due to loss of habitat. Presently, she is exploring how technology has changed how our use of language and grammar, social interaction, how we communicate, ultimately our relationships and our overall wellbeing.
